A financial plan that is right for you...
There are a wide variety of financial arrangements available both in the UK and abroad for overseas property whether this be for:

• Individual purchases.
• Financing for multi-purchases.

These will normally include financing options both on a capital and interest repayment basis and also interest only.

As always the alternatives available vary enormously but it is worthwhile to point out that this is a very dynamic market and, although the criteria for lending have tightened considerably, there is considerable funding available subject to the status of the purchaser.

Independent financial advice (UK)...
We are great believers in clients obtaining professional advice on a range of specialist subjects in relation to their property purchases and sales.

We are not regulated in the UK to offer advice on property financing but we have for this reason sourced companies who are qualified in this field and we will be happy to make names available.
These companies are independent mortgage brokers or financial services groups and all will be pleased to advise on UK financial products either for mortgages or re-mortgages whether these relate to residential and/or commercial properties.

Such financing will include standard mortgages and those on a buy-to-let basis.

These arrangements will typically involve a charge or further charge being placed upon a property in the UK, not on the one purchased overseas.

Finance on Overseas Property...
If you wish to arrange finance on the overseas property, this can be sometimes arranged from the UK, but often this will be carried out locally to the property e.g. by a Spanish Bank or an independent mortgage/financial advisor in Spain.

Again, a wide range of products is available (including interest-only) but it is a fast-changing market and it is worthwhile to continue to re-check what is available.
